    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is a closed-book exam with 180 questions, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank question types.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. The questions are scenario-based and test how you apply project management principles.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The updated exam covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, and you receive domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from the date of application approval. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts, and our prep resources help you close any gaps before you retake.

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The current exam is aligned to PMI's updated PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, with an explicit split across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery. Our courseware reflects the 8th edition so you study exactly what is tested.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers all five PMP exam domains, spanning predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, along with leadership, stakeholder engagement, business analysis and exam strategy. You also get guidance on the PMI application and eligibility.

Can a beginner take this PMP training?

You can attend the training with limited experience, and it delivers the 35 contact hours you need. To sit the exam, PMI requires project-leadership experience under Path A or Path B, and our trainers help you plan toward eligibility.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The program includes practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the 180-question exam, so you can find weak areas and build readiness before exam day.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covering the five updated domains and the predictive, agile and hybrid content the exam now tests.

Do I earn the 35 contact hours needed for the PMP?
