    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam has 180 questions to be completed in 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a test center.

What if I do not pass the PMP exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams, scenario practice and revision support to prepare you thoroughly, and selected plans let you attend the training again to strengthen weak areas.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP exam?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a high school diploma or associate degree you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Anchorage?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test center. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal once your application is approved.

    Course Content

Do I need prior experience to take this training?

You can enroll in the training at any experience level, and it is a strong way to earn the 35 contact hours PMI requires. To sit the PMP exam you will also need the leading-projects experience PMI specifies, which our advisors can help you assess.

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers the five PMP performance domains: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and application guidance.

Does the course cover agile as well as predictive methods?

Yes. Roughly half the PMP exam covers agile and hybrid approaches, so the training teaches Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery alongside predictive planning tools such as the critical path method and earned value management.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMI standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you prepare against the exam PMI runs today.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?
