In this programme you will learn to build a risk management strategy: perform document analysis, assess the project environment for threats and opportunities, confirm risk thresholds, and produce a tailored risk management plan for predictive, agile or hybrid delivery.

    Identify Threats and Opportunities

Facilitate identification workshops using brainstorming, the Delphi technique, SWOT and assumption analysis, then document risks in a clear cause-risk-effect register and validate it for completeness with stakeholders.

    Analyse Risk Qualitatively and Quantitatively

Prioritise risks with probability-impact matrices, then apply quantitative techniques including Monte Carlo simulation, decision tree analysis, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value to gauge impact on cost and schedule.

    Plan and Implement Risk Responses

Develop response strategies for threats and opportunities, assign owners, set triggers and contingency plans, and integrate reserves into the schedule and budget so responses are actionable, not theoretical.

    Monitor and Close Risks

Track residual and secondary risks, run periodic risk reviews, report on the changing risk profile, and formally close resolved risks while capturing lessons learned for future projects.

Prepare for the PMI-RMP Exam and Application

Get exam-ready for the 115-question, 2.5-hour format with practice questions mapped to the January 2022 ECO, plus guidance on documenting your risk experience and education hours for the PMI application.
