    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published January 2018. Questions are distributed across seven agile domains and delivered online proctored via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a test centre.

    How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

    The PMI-ACP exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. It covers all seven agile domains of the current Examination Content Outline, including value-driven delivery, stakeholder engagement and adaptive planning.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience within the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience within the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general project experience requirement.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all seven domains.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    Do I need prior agile experience to take the training?

    Anyone can attend the training to build skills and earn the 24 contact hours. To sit the PMI-ACP exam, however, PMI requires documented general project and agile experience, so the credential suits practitioners with hands-on agile background.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 120-question, three-hour PMI-ACP format, plus domain-wise quizzes that help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.
