Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined EXIN BCS credential pathway developed by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation certificate validates business analysis knowledge and the Practitioner certificate validates the ability to apply BA techniques in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis course in Taiwan?

It suits aspiring and practising business analysts, project managers, IT professionals moving into BA roles, product owners and consultants. In Taiwan it is especially valuable for those working on digital transformation across the semiconductor, banking and ICT sectors.

Is the Business Analysis certification worth it in Taiwan?

Yes. Business analyst roles in Taiwan average around NT$1.56M a year, rising to about NT$1.97M for senior analysts, and demand is growing with AI, FinTech and smart-manufacturing projects. Two globally recognised, BCS-quality-assured credentials help you stand out and progress. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Is the EXIN BCS credential recognised internationally?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT. The combined credential is well recognised across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Commonwealth markets, and valued by employers in Taiwan and worldwide.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither credential expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement.

    Pricing

How much does Business Analysis training cost in Taiwan?

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes EXIN BCS aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, learner support, and guidance to clear both exams. Confirm current exam-voucher inclusion when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam vouchers for the Foundation and Practitioner exams are often bundled into the combined training package, but this varies by plan. Confirm whether the two EXIN exam fees are included in your fee before you enrol.

    Exam

What is the format of the two EXIN BCS exams?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions. The Practitioner exam is closed book with 40 scenario-based multiple-choice questions that test applied judgement. Both are delivered by EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited testing location.

How many questions are on each exam and how long are they?

Each exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. The Foundation exam covers 14 topic areas at a knowledge and comprehension level; the Practitioner exam covers 7 applied topic areas through realistic scenarios.

    What is the passing score?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct out of 40 questions. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and Practitioner exams to hold both credentials.

Do I need prerequisites to take the exams?

The Foundation exam has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner exam, which is why the combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit an EXIN exam; verify the current re-sit policy and fees with EXIN. Our training includes mock exams, scenario practice and trainer guidance designed to help you pass both exams with confidence. Ask an advisor about retake support options.

    Course Content

What topics does the Business Analysis training cover?

The Foundation portion covers 14 topic areas including investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder management, strategy analysis and business cases. The Practitioner portion applies these across 7 scenario-based topic areas from strategic context to building the business case.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and starts from core concepts, so beginners can follow it. The programme then builds to applied Practitioner techniques, supported by case studies and trainer guidance, so newcomers and experienced staff both benefit.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive EXIN BCS aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus reference material based on the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Is the courseware aligned to the current EXIN BCS specifications?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so your preparation matches what the exams assess.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?
