    Is there an exam for JIRA training?

    No. This is a non-certification, skills-focused course with no exam at either level. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Jira exercises throughout the programme.

    Do I receive a certificate after the training?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. This is a skills-training record, not a formal certification from an awarding body, and it confirms the Jira training you have completed.

    How is my learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you build proficiency through hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities using realistic Agile delivery scenarios, so you practise every skill as you learn it.

    Will my Jira skills expire?

    No. The skills you build are immediately applicable and do not expire. There is no renewal cycle to maintain, so you can put your Jira capability to work straight away and keep using it.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    After Fundamentals you can create projects, manage issues, run Scrum and Kanban boards, plan releases and generate Agile reports. After Advanced you can design workflows and schemes, write advanced JQL, build automation and dashboards, and administer a Jira instance.

    What topics does JIRA Fundamentals cover?

    Fundamentals covers Jira navigation, project creation, the issue hierarchy, issue management, Scrum boards and sprint management, Kanban boards, roadmaps and versions, saved filters, basic JQL and core Agile reports such as velocity and burndown charts.

    What does JIRA Advanced cover?

    Advanced covers custom workflow design, permission, notification, screen and field configuration schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation, integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD tools, and Jira administration.

    Is the training hands-on?

    Yes. Both levels are delivered with live instructor demonstration and hands-on Jira exercises throughout. You follow along in a Jira environment and practise each feature on realistic Agile project scenarios.

    How long is each level of the training?

    Fundamentals runs for 2 days (16 hours) and Advanced for 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day or extended half-day formats, so you can choose the schedule that fits you.

    Which version of Jira is used in the course?

    The training is based on the current Atlassian Jira platform and covers Jira Software across Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center. Exercises reflect how Agile and delivery teams use Jira today.
