What is the CAPM certification and who is it for?

Is CAPM worth it for a project management career in Ho Chi Minh City?

Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM requires no project management work experience. You need only a secondary school qualification, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent, plus 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike PMP and most other PMI credentials, you renew it by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle, not by earning PDUs.

Is CAPM recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised by employers in over 200 countries. It signals a solid grounding in project management fundamentals and a commitment to the profession, which travels well across sectors and regions.

How much does CAPM training cost in Ho Chi Minh City?

The training fee includes courseware, practice questions, mock exams and learner support, and is quoted in VND depending on your chosen format. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD. Request a quote or speak with a learning advisor for current pricing.

What is included in the CAPM course fee?

The fee typically covers PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable materials, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate with the 24 contact hours you need. The PMI exam fee is not included.

How much is the CAPM exam fee?

PMI bills the CAPM exam fee in USD, with a lower rate for PMI members than non-members. Membership also gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Confirm the current fee on the PMI website before you apply.

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours. It is closed book and delivered through Pearson VUE, either via OnVUE online proctoring or at a test centre. It is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective January 2023.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The exam covers four domains from the 2023 CAPM ECO: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

How many attempts do I get, and what if I do not pass?

You are allowed up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our training includes practice questions and mock exams to help you prepare thoroughly and pass on your first attempt.

Where can I take the CAPM exam in Ho Chi Minh City?

You can sit the exam online from home or office through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. You schedule it through the Pearson VUE or PMI portal once your application is approved.

Yes. CAPM is designed for beginners, so no prior project experience is needed. The training starts from the fundamentals and builds up step by step, with trainer support and practice to keep you on track.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest CAPM syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current CAPM Examination Content Outline, effective January 2023, and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, so you study the material the exam actually tests.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams that mirror the 150-question, three-hour closed-book format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam confidence.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. After completing the programme you receive a course completion certificate confirming the 24 contact hours, which meets and exceeds the 23-hour education requirement for CAPM eligibility.

How do I enrol in the CAPM course?
