How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions to be completed in 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions (single and multiple answer), delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. It is based on the PMI-RMP ECO effective January 2022.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

The exam covers five risk domains from the ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%). Questions span predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

There are three sets. Set A: secondary diploma plus 36 months of project risk experience in the last five years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: a four-year degree plus 24 months of experience and 30 hours of education. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree plus 12 months of experience and 30 hours of education.

What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP the first time?

How is the PMI-RMP exam scored?

Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes for most candidates. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour education requirement for Set B and Set C applicants. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education alongside this programme.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMI-RMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and to the PMBOK Guide and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions mapped to the 115-question format, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before exam day.
