    What if I do not pass the PgMP exam first time?

    How long is the PgMP exam and how many questions?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions in a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and weights?

    Five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), per the current PgMP Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are set by psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience. You must pass both the panel review and the written exam to earn the credential.

    Where can I take the PgMP exam?

    You can sit the exam via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE within your one-year eligibility window.

    Can a first-time programme manager follow the training?

    The training is built for experienced professionals, but it guides you through each domain step by step. If you already meet PMI's programme experience requirements, the course consolidates that experience and prepares you for the exam and panel review.
