What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile exams?

There are two exams. Foundation is closed book, 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, with a 60% pass mark (24 of 40). Practitioner is open book, 50 scenario-based questions in 150 minutes, with a 60% pass mark (30 of 50).

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate PeopleCert exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and Practitioner exams to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for each in turn.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, questions require scenario-based analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and solid method knowledge are both needed.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation is one accepted prerequisite for Practitioner, and PRINCE2 Foundation is also accepted. There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation exam, so newcomers can start there.

How and where do I sit the exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either via OnVUE online proctoring available 24/7 or at authorised test centres. You can sit them from home, office or a centre in China once you are ready.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit a PeopleCert exam; re-sit policies and fees are set by PeopleCert. Our training includes mock exams and technique sessions to build readiness, and our team can guide you on rebooking a resit.
