How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

There are five domains per the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions matched to the real format to help you prepare thoroughly, and our trainers support you on weaker domains before you sit.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI offers three sets. With a secondary diploma: 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years plus 40 hours of risk education. With a bachelor's degree: 24 months plus 30 hours. With a GAC-accredited degree: 12 months plus 30 hours. Our 32 hours satisfy the Set B and Set C education requirement.

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You will learn to plan risk strategy, identify threats and opportunities, run qualitative and quantitative analysis, plan and implement responses, and monitor and close risks. The training maps directly to the five ECO domains and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

Which risk tools and techniques does the course cover?

The course covers identification tools such as brainstorming, Delphi and SWOT, qualitative tools such as the probability and impact matrix, and quantitative tools including Monte Carlo simulation, decision-tree analysis, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value.

Does the training cover agile and hybrid risk management?

Yes. The January 2022 ECO incorporates predictive, agile and hybrid risk approaches, and the training reflects that. You will learn to adapt risk practice to iterative and blended delivery, which matches how many Cologne teams run programmes.

Does this training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?

The programme provides 32 contact hours of risk management education, which fully satisfies the 30-hour requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) candidates. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 supplementary hours.
