What is the PgMP certification and who is it for?

Is the PgMP worth it for programme leaders in Stockholm?

Do I need a PMP before taking the PgMP?

How long is the PgMP certification valid?

The PgMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle, with at least 8 PDUs in each area, within every three-year continuing certification cycle.

Yes. As a PMI credential, the PgMP carries global recognition across more than 200 countries and is a benchmark for programme management excellence, valued by senior employers in Sweden and worldwide.

How much does PgMP training cost in Stockholm?

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions with a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

Five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11 percent), Program Life Cycle Management (44 percent), Benefits Management (11 percent), Stakeholder Engagement (16 percent) and Governance (18 percent), based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme practitioners evaluates your documented experience, and it must be passed alongside the written exam to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing standard and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Which standard is the PgMP exam based on?

The exam is based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and aligned to The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, from PMI. Our courseware follows the 4th edition and the current ECO.

Do I need prior experience to take PgMP training?

Anyone can attend the training, but the PgMP credential itself requires substantial programme experience. You will get guidance on documenting that experience so you can apply with confidence once training is complete.
