    What is the format of the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

    Both exams are closed book. The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple-choice questions across 14 topic areas. The Practitioner exam uses scenario-based multiple-choice questions that test how you apply BA techniques in realistic project situations.

    How many questions are in each exam and how long is it?

    Each exam has 40 questions and a duration of 60 minutes. You sit two separate exams, one for Foundation and one for Practitioner, and must pass both to hold both credentials.

    What is the passing score?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. This applies to the Foundation and the Practitioner exam alike.

    Where can I sit the EXIN exams in Turkey?

    You can sit the exams online through EXIN's proctored exam system or at an accredited testing location. Exams are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

    Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of BA concepts across 14 topic areas. Practitioner tests application and analysis of BA techniques across 7 topic areas using project scenarios. The combined 32-hour programme prepares you for both.
