    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline (ECO, January 2018). Questions are distributed across seven agile domains and delivered online proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. It is closed book and proctored, with questions spread across the seven agile domains defined in the Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all seven domains.

    Where can I take the PMI-ACP exam in Uruguay?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal once your application is approved.

    What if I do not pass, can I retake the exam?

    You can join the training at any level, and it is structured to build understanding step by step. To sit the exam, PMI requires agile project experience and general project experience, so the course also guides you on documenting those hours.

    Does the training satisfy the 21 contact hours requirement?

    Yes. PMI-ACP requires 21 contact hours of agile training as a prerequisite. This programme provides 24 contact hours of instructor-led training, which exceeds and fully satisfies that requirement.

    What learning resources are provided?

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions and full-length mock exams in the 120-question format, domain-wise quizzes, reference materials and application guidance, all mapped to the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-ACP syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline effective January 2018, which remains the current exam basis, and to the recognised agile references PMI lists, including the Agile Practice Guide.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP exam?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience within the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience within the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders meet the general experience requirement already.
