Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the programme. It recognises your attendance and awareness-level understanding, and the knowledge you gain does not expire.

Does this course make me a Six Sigma practitioner?

No. It is an awareness course, so it does not qualify you to lead Six Sigma projects. To become a practitioner, you would progress to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt training.

How is my understanding checked during the course?

Understanding is built and checked informally through interactive discussion and team exercises rather than a graded test. You apply Six Sigma concepts to your own work context as the day progresses.

How long does the training take?

What is DMAIC?

DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. It is the structured Six Sigma roadmap for improving existing processes, and the course explains what happens in each of the five phases.

Will I learn Six Sigma tools in detail?

You gain an awareness-level introduction to tools such as SIPOC, fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts and control charts. The aim is to understand what each tool does during a project, not to use them at practitioner depth.

What is the Six Sigma goal of 3.4 DPMO?

The Six Sigma target is fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities, a level of near-perfect quality. The course explains DPMO and sigma levels so you understand how process performance is measured.
