How is PMI-CP different from the PMP?

    Pricing

How much does PMI-CP training cost in Beijing?

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

The PMI-CP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide, Eighth Edition. Questions use single-answer and multiple-answer formats set in realistic construction scenarios.

The exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

There are four domains per the official ECO: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%). Contracts Management is the largest, reflecting the centrality of contracts in construction delivery.

What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.
