The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification is a globally recognised, two-level qualification that validates your ability to lead the people and culture side of organisational change. Change Management certification training in Cochin with Invensis Learning takes you from foundational knowledge to applied practitioner competence in one structured programme. The course is grounded in the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute. You learn established models including Bridges' Transition Model, ADKAR, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model and McKinsey 7-S, and how to apply them across five topic areas: change and the individual, change and the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, change practice, and personal and professional management. Delivered in live virtual and corporate formats, the training suits project managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and senior leaders in Cochin who drive change. You gain the vocabulary, tools and applied technique to move confidently from the closed-book Foundation exam to the open-book, scenario-based Practitioner exam, and to lead change that sticks at work.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates understanding of change concepts; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. It is grounded in the CMBoK from the Change Management Institute.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates understanding of change concepts; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. It is grounded in the CMBoK from the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this change management course in Cochin?

It suits project managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants, programme managers and senior leaders in Cochin who drive or support change. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so it is open to professionals at any career stage who want a recognised change credential.

Is the change management certification recognised in Cochin?

Yes. It is recognised internationally in over 150 countries and valued by employers across Cochin's IT services, GCCs, consulting, BFSI and travel-tech sectors that run large change and transformation programmes. It is particularly respected where change management is treated as a professional discipline.

Is the Change Management certification worth it for my career?

Yes. Change Manager roles in India average around ₹8.9 lakh and OCM consultant and transformation lead bands reach considerably higher. With Cochin's talent pool thin in certified change practitioners, the credential is a clear differentiator. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

What is the difference between the Foundation and Practitioner levels?

Foundation builds knowledge and comprehension of change concepts and models through a closed-book exam. Practitioner develops the ability to apply those models to realistic scenarios through an open-book, scenario-based exam. The combined programme covers both, taken sequentially as two separate exams.

    Pricing

How much does change management training cost in Cochin?

Fees vary by format, schedule and whether exam vouchers are bundled. The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is usually purchased as a training plus dual-exam package. Pricing is available on request; contact us for a quote or ask about group rates.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training, courseware aligned to the official syllabi and the CMBoK, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, practice questions, and learner support. Confirm exam voucher inclusion when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam vouchers for the Foundation and Practitioner exams are typically included in authorised training packages, but inclusion varies by plan. Confirm what is bundled when you enrol so you know exactly what is covered.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, HR functions and transformation teams in Cochin. Request a tailored quote for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a single-answer format. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered via online proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

What are the passing scores for both exams?

Both exams require 50% to pass. Foundation needs 25 out of 50 correct; Practitioner needs 40 out of 80 marks across its five scenario-based sections. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the five scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep model knowledge are both essential, and the training builds both.

What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit the exam you did not pass. Our training includes guided preparation, mock exams and applied practice for both levels to support a first-attempt pass. Re-sit policies and any fees vary, so confirm the current terms when you enrol.

    Course Content

What topics does the change management course cover?

The syllabus spans five topic areas: change and the individual, change and the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, change practice, and personal and professional management. Foundation covers them at awareness level; Practitioner at application and analysis level.

Which change management models and theories will I learn?

Which standard and guide is the course based on?

The course is grounded in the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute, aligned to the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

What learning materials and practice are provided?

You receive courseware aligned to the official syllabi, industry-driven case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams and practice questions, and guidance on open-book exam technique for the Practitioner level.

    Enrollment
