    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 ECO: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete it. The exam is closed book and uses single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of the whole outline.

    Where do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can take the CAPM exam through Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test center, with locations available in and around Sacramento and worldwide.
