    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    Where do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can sit the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center. The exam is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023.
