    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 examination content outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is a closed-book exam based on the current CAPM Examination Content Outline.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    Where and how do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can take the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center. You may attempt it up to three times within your one-year eligibility period.
