How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years from the date of certification. Unlike PMP, it is not renewed by earning PDUs. To stay certified you retake and pass the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle.

Is CAPM recognized by employers in Connecticut?

How much does the CAPM exam cost?

PMI lists the exam at approximately USD 225 for members and USD 300 for non-members, and prices are periodically updated, so confirm the current fee at pmi.org before you apply. PMI individual membership costs roughly USD 139 per year and includes free access to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the course price?

Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing standard and does not publish a fixed percentage. You receive a pass or fail result with performance feedback for each of the four domains, reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.
