    Attend both days and take part in the workshops, exercises, and discussions. Active participation in the full 16-hour course is required by Scrum Alliance to become eligible for the CSM test.

    Step 3: Receive Your Scrum Alliance Test Invitation

    After the course, your CST submits your participation to Scrum Alliance, which emails you an invitation to take the online CSM test through your Scrum Alliance account.

    Step 4: Take the CSM Test

    Complete the CSM test online: 50 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, with a 74% pass mark (37 of 50). You receive two free attempts within 90 days of completing the course.

    Step 5: Accept the License Agreement and Earn CSM

    On passing, accept the Scrum Alliance License Agreement in your account to activate your Certified ScrumMasterĀ® credential, digital badge, and 2-year Scrum Alliance membership.

    Step 6: Maintain Your Credential

    Do I have to attend a course to get the CSM?

    Yes. Scrum Alliance requires attendance at an approved CSM course delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer before you can access the exam. Self-study alone does not qualify you to sit the CSM exam.

    Can I reschedule to another batch?

    Yes. You can reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include flexible attendance options. Contact support to arrange a change to your enrollment.
