    Pricing

How much does the change management course cost in Richmond, VA?

Fees are quoted in US dollars and vary by delivery format and whether the dual exam bundle is included. Pricing for the combined Foundation and Practitioner program is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote and any group rates.

What is included in the training fee?

The training typically includes syllabus-aligned courseware, case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus learner support and first-attempt exam guidance. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm the details when you enroll.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some bundles include both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price training and exams separately. Ask a learning advisor to confirm what your package covers.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customized schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and departments. Request a group quote for your Richmond team and we will tailor a program to your objectives.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with installment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that fits you, or to arrange corporate invoicing for team enrollments.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined program?

Two separate exams. The Foundation exam has 50 questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks total, over 2.5 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (40 out of 80).

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the guide and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What are the prerequisites for each exam?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, so the combined program takes you through Foundation first and then Practitioner.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can retake the exam you did not pass. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly. Ask about retake options and any Flexi Pass to reattend the training if you need extra support.

How and where do I sit the exams?

Both exams are delivered via online proctoring or at an authorized test center, and are usually taken at the end of each level of training. You can sit them from home or office in Richmond with a secure remote-proctored session.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The program covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation builds knowledge; Practitioner develops applied, scenario-based skills.

Which change models and frameworks will I learn?

You will learn established models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence domains and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No prior change management experience is required for Foundation. The training is beginner-friendly and builds from core concepts to applied practice, with case studies and mock exams, so newcomers and experienced professionals can both progress with confidence.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The program includes practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus case studies and knowledge checks that help you identify weak areas and build readiness for exam day.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi, the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute.

How soon can I start and how do I enroll?
